Anime & Character Details

Edward Elric is one of the main characters of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and is known by his State Alchemist alias, “Fullmetal.”

Edward possesses exceptional natural talent in alchemy and became the youngest person to receive State Alchemist certification. Following the brothers' failed attempt at human transmutation, Edward loses his left leg and later sacrifices his right arm to bind his younger brother Alphonse's soul to armor. The brothers then travel in search of a way to restore their original bodies.
